Questions about pre-IPO investing?

What does pre-IPO investing mean?

You invest in well-known private companies in their final rounds before a potential IPO or sale, names like Anthropic or Epic Games. Akka sources the deals, negotiates VC-level terms, and handles everything. You choose which to back, from €300.

Why is access limited?

Pre-IPO allocations are scarce, companies open a small window to a small number of investors. We pass that on as limited batches: each drop closes once it's full or the deadline hits.

How long until I see returns?

Pre-IPO sits late in a company's private life, so the typical horizon is shorter than early-stage, often 2 or 3 years to a liquidity event (IPO or sale). That said, timing and exits are never guaranteed, and you should only invest capital you can leave untouched.

Isn't this risky?

Yes. Startup investing carries real risks, including illiquidity and total loss. That's why we diversify and why our VC-level protections (anti-dilution, liquidation preference) reduce your downside compared with investing alone. Never invest money you might need short-term.
